Spraying stuff into pots is asking for trouble eventually - Deoxit *might* be OK but even then, I suspect you might end up washing some of the lithium grease out of the pot shaft, rinsing it across the conductive track regions and then, when the solvent evaporates, the grease gets worked into the track and ruins it sooner or later. I've never seen a situation that needed Deoxit.
